Ngiyakholwa nguJesu Kristu iNdodana yakhe ezelwe iyodwa, iNkosi yethu, owathatshathwa ngoMoya oNgcwele, wazalwa nguMariya intombi, wahlushwa phansi kukaPontiyu Pilatu, wabethelwa esiphambanweni, wafa, wembelwa, wehlela endaweni yabafileyo, ngosuku lwesithathu wavuka kwabafileyo, wenyukela ezulwini, uhlezi ngakwesokunene sikaNkulunkulu, uYise uMninimandla-onke, lapho eyakubuya khona, ezokwahlulela abasahambayo nabafileyo.
Lokhu kusho ukuthini na? Kuthi: Ngiyakholwa ukuthi uJesu Kristu, uNkulunkulu uqobo, ezelwe nguYise phambi kwezikhathi zonke, nomuntu futhi uqobo, ezelwe nguMariya intombi, uyiNkosi yami, ongisindisile mina engingumuntu olahlekileyo nolahliweyo, wangihlenga, wangizuza kuzo izono zonke, nakukho ukufa, nakuwo amandla kaSathane, kunge ngegolide nangesiliva, kodwa ngegazi lakhe elingcwele, elinenana elikhulu, nangokuhlushwa nokufa kwakhe, engenacala: ukuba ngibe-ngowakhe impela, ngihlale phansi kwakhe embusweni wakhe, ngimkhonze ngokulunga nangobumhlophe, nangokuthokoza okuphelele okungapheliyo, njengalokhu yena
