65 years ago Rev. Dr. Friedrich Wilhelm Hopf started as editor of the “Missionsblatt”. This was one of his many tasks, which he faithfully fulfilled many years – even decades. In the first edition that he published he gave the following summary of the mission work as he understood it, which contained favourable references to his predecessors in editing the “Missionsblatt”: Pastors Conrad Dreves, Friedrich Wolff and Adolf Blanke.  Lastly D. Rudolf Rocholl is also quoted at some length. There pictures are seen above.
