Kristin Lange, the managing director of the International Lutheran Society of Wittenberg housed in the Old Latinschool in the Luthercity Wittenberg (Germany) introduced the following newsletter in this special holiday season of the holy Epiphany with the exclamation: “Big New Year’s News!” She then went on: “Happy New Year! I pray this newsletter finds you and your dear ones well in this Epiphany season. If you are reading this from “back home,” then I hope you are staying warm and safe in the extreme temperatures in many areas. I woke up to a light snowfall outside of my window this morning – very peaceful!” And then she shared this:

“I have some important information to share with you regarding my service in Wittenberg, and ask that you please take a few moments to read the letter I’ve attached in lieu of my normal newsletter. Thank you for all the ways that you continue to support me in Wittenberg, most especially for your ongoing prayers! In Jesus’ Name – Kristin”
