May you have a very blessed weekend and have time to meditate on the watchword for this week: Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Mat 11:28 ESV)

A collect for this Sunday: Baba wethu osezulwini, siyadumisa wena, Nkosi, ngokuba wasithumela uMsindisi ukuba sihlengwe ekufeni okuphakade. Namuhla sicela kuwe uMoya wakho oNgcwele ukuba asihole ngezwi lakho eqinisweni lakho, sibonge wena ngenxa yevangeli elingcwele, elisetshenziswa nguMoya wakho ukuba sikholwe nguwe nqi, sibone umusa nothando lwakho ezwini lakho. Baba, ube nathi manje lapha sifunda khona izwi lakho, ukuba silifunde kahle, njengabantwana bakho abathembekileyo. Lokhu sicela ngaye uJesu Kristu iNkosi noMsindisi wethu. Amen.

If you are called to preach this weekend, may the triune God give you joy and strength, enthusiasm and wisdom, knowledge and insight – and the true words and pictures to preach his holy will faithfully according to his most precious revelation of his will and promises in both the Old and New Testament! However if you are not preaching, but listening – then listen as if God is talking to you + His precious gospel is “the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.” (Rom 1:16 NIV)

We thank the Lutheran Heritage Foundation for supporting the distribution of hard-copies of these orders of worship and sermons throughout Southern Africa. If you also want a copy please do not hesitate to subscribe by writing to EAWWeber@bundunet.co.za.
