With the academic year daily devotions have again started at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Tshwane. In the morning Seminarians follow the Lutheran Order of Matins and in the evening that of Vespers. Wednesdays we have the opportunity for Confession and Absolution. Thursdays it’s my turn at Vespers. Here is the first sermon I held there in the evening – it comes in the traditional 3 parts, although careful observers might conclude that the divisions are somewhat haphazard or even arbitrary.
