Lutheran order of the divine service in isiZulu and seTswana.

10 lepersThe Lutheran Order of Service for the 14th Sunday after Trinity is available here in isiZulu and seTswana. Today it comes with a sermon by Pastor K-G Tiedemann (Tarmstedt, Germany) based on God’s word from 1. Thessalonians chapter 5: 14-24 in isiZulu (wz1448140921 n Tr 14) and translated into seTswana (wt1448140928 n Tr 14) by my father Rev. E.A.W.Weber DD (Welbedacht, KZN).

The readings for this 14th Sunday after Trinity are:

Old Testament:       Genesis 28:10-19a

The Epistle:            Romans 8:12-17

The Gospel:            Luke 17:11-19

Psalm:                    146:1.5.7c-8

The liturgical colour is green.

May you have a very blessed weekend and have time to meditate on the watchword for this 14th Sunday after Trinity: Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. (Psa 103:2 ESV)

O Lord, keep your Church with Your perpetual mercy; and because of our frailty we cannot but fall, keep us ever by Your help from all things hurtful and lead us to all things profitable to our salvation; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

If you are called to preach this weekend, may the triune God give you joy and strength, enthusiasm and wisdom, knowledge and insight – and the true words and pictures to preach his holy will faithfully according to his most precious revelation of his will and promises in both the Old and New Testament! However if you are not preaching, but listening – then listen as if God is talking to you + His precious gospel is “the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.” (Rom 1:16 NIV)
