Lutheran Order of service in isiZulu/seTswana

poor-invited-to-feastThe Lutheran Order of Service for the 2nd Sunday after Trinity (29th June 2014) is available here in isiZulu and seTswana. Today it comes with a sermon based on God’s word 1. Corinthians in the ninth chapter the verses 16-23 written by Pastor Peter C. Weber (Ohlangeni, KZN) in isiZulu (wz1436140629 n Tr 2) and translated as usual seTswana (wt1437140629m n Tr 2) by my father Rev. E.A.W.Weber DD (Welbedacht, KZN).

The readings for this 1st Sunday after Trinity are:

Old Testament:       Isaiah 16:16-21

The Epistle:            Ephesians 2:19-22

The Gospel:            Luke 14:16-24

The liturgical colour is green.

May you have a very blessed weekend and have time to meditate on the watchword for this week: Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Mat 11:28 ESV)

A collect for this Sunday: Baba wethu osezulwini, siyadumisa wena, Nkosi, ngokuba wasithumela uMsindisi ukuba sihlengwe ekufeni okuphakade. Namuhla sicela kuwe uMoya wakho oNgcwele ukuba asihole ngezwi lakho eqinisweni lakho, sibonge wena ngenxa yevangeli elingcwele, elisetshenziswa nguMoya wakho ukuba sikholwe nguwe nqi, sibone umusa nothando lwakho ezwini lakho.
