The Lutheran Order of Service for the 12^th Sunday after Trinity is available here in isiZulu and seTswana. Today it comes with a sermon by Pastor M.N. Mntambo (LC Arcadia, GP) based on God’s word from the letter to the Hebrews chapter 10 verses 37-39 in isiZulu (wz1446140907 ngomkhosi wokubonga ukuvuna) and translated into seTswana (wt1446140906 Moletlo wa go lebogela thobo) by my father Rev. E.A.W.Weber DD (Welbedacht, KZN).

The readings for this 12^th Sunday after Trinity are:

Old Testament:       Isaiah 29:17-24

The Epistle:            Acts 9:1-9 (10-20)

The Gospel:            Mark 7:31-37

Psalm:                    147:1.3.7.11

The liturgical colour is green.

May you have a very blessed weekend and have time to meditate on the watchword for this week: “A bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench.”  (Isa 42:3 ESV)

Almighty and merciful God, by Your gift alone Your faithful people render true and laudable service. Help us steadfastly to live in this life according to Your promises and finally attain Your heavenly glory; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

If you are called to preach this weekend, may the triune God give you joy and strength, enthusiasm and wisdom, knowledge and insight – and the true words and pictures to preach his holy will faithfully according to his most precious revelation of his will and promises in both the Old and New Testament! However if you are not preaching, but listening – then listen as if God is talking to you + His precious gospel is “the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.” (Rom 1:16 NIV)
