Lutheran Order of service in isiZulu/seTswana

David BonnellThe Lutheran Order of Service for the 9th Sunday after Trinity is available here in isiZulu and seTswana. Today it comes with a sermon based on God’s word from the gospel of the evangelist St. Matthew in the 13th chapter verses 44-46 written by Rev. Thomas Seiffert (LC Braunschweig) in seTswana (wt1339130728) and translated as usual into isiZulu (wz1339130728 n Tr 9) by my father Rev. E.A.W.Weber DD (Welbedacht, KZN).

The readings for this Sunday are the following:

From the Old Testament:   Jeremiah 1,4-10

The Epistle:                      Philippians 3,7-11

The Gospel:                      Matthew 25,14-30

The liturgical colour is green.

May you have a very blessed weekend and have time to meditate on the watchword for this Sunday. Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ says: From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. (Luk 12:48 NIV)

We thank the Lutheran Heritage Foundation for supporting the distribution of hard-copies of these orders of worship and sermons throughout Southern Africa. If you also want a copy please do not hesitate to subscribe by writing to EAWWeber@bundunet.co.za.
