Lutheran Order of Service

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” (Mat 25:13 NIV)

The Lutheran Order of Service for the Last Sunday in the Church year is available here in isiZulu and seTswana. The gospel is Jesus parable about the 10 virgins, which reminds us to be watchful for the coming of our Lord and bridegroom Jesus Christ, who is coming soon and in all his glory to judge the living and the dead.

This Sundays order comes with a seTswana sermon (wt1255121125 n Tr 27) based on Isaiah 65,17-19 (20-22) 23-25 by Rev. Matthias Krieser (SELK) and one in isiZulu (wz1255121125 n Tr 27) on the same text by Rev. Ratshefola (LCSA, NW).

We thank the brothers for their faithful service in preaching the word and also the Lutheran Heritage Foundation for supporting the distribution of hard-copies of these orders of worship and sermons throughout Southern Africa. If you also want a copy please do not hesitate to subscribe by writing to EAWWeber@bundunet.co.za.

I pray you have a very blessed Sunday and have time to meditate on today’s watchword from St. Luke’s gospel:  “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning.” (12:35 NIV)
