Ten days before Pentecost and 40 after Easter the one holy Christian Church celebrates the holiday of Christ’s ascension to heaven. Although this is not a public holiday in South Africa anymore, most congregations gather in the evening to hear the joyful gospel that Jesus Christ reigns over all in our favor. Thankfully at Seminary we can still have the festive celebration at 10h00 during the Matins service. Today Rev. D.P. Tswaedi DD is to preach in this service. For those, who are not so fortunate to have a worship service during the day, here are the orders of worship in both isiZulu wz1227120517 umkhosi wokwenyuka and also seTswana wt1227120517 Tlhatlogo ya Morena with a sermon for the day on Revelation 1,4-8 by Bishop Weber and translated by his father Rev. E.A.W.Weber DD. The sermon is also available in English under the following link: 2012 Ascension Day.
I pray that you have a very blessed holiday of Ascension +
