Thy sins be forgiven thee.
And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” 1
And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” 2
“Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 3
“I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. 4
A Maskil of David. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the LORD counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. 5
Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love. 6
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. 7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 8
as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. 9
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. 10
